A Special Prayer for Understanding from Jerusalem
“And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
One of the oddities of the time when Yeshua of Nazareth was preaching at Jerusalem, was that the people had forgotten how to pray. One of the peculiarities of these times is that African Americans have forgotten how to pray.
“And it came to pass that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. “
“If they sin against thee (for there is no man who sinneth not), and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; Yet if they shall take it to their hearts in the land where they were carried cap- tives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them who carried them captives, saying, we have sinned and have done perversely, we have com- mitted wickedness;
And so return unto thee with all their hearts, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, who led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name. Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven, thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause.”
I Kings 8:46-49
“And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me; I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”
I Kings 9:3
“A Prayer for Understanding”
Lord God of Israel, there is no God like unto Thee in Heaven above or on earth beneath for Thou keepeth cov- enant and mercy with Thy servants that walk before Thee with all their heart. I beseech Thee, have respect unto the prayer and to the supplication of Thy servant, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which Thy servant doth pray before Thee this day. And hearken Thou to the supplication of Thy people, and hear Thou in Heaven Thy dwelling place, and when Thou hear, forgive; then teach them the good way wherein they should walk and be not angry with them but deliver them from the hands of the adversary, for they be Thy people and Thy inheritance which Thou brought forth out of Egypt from the midst of the iron furnace.
Lord God be with us as Thou was with our fathers; leave us not; neither forsake us. Incline our hearts unto Thee to walk in all Thy ways and to keep Thy commandments, Thy statutes and Thy judgments. And let these my words where- with I have made supplication before the Lord, be nigh unto Thee day and night that You maintain the cause of Thy servant and the cause of Thy people Israel at all times as the matter shall require, that all the people of the earth may know that Thou art God and there is none else.
Father, Thy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; we have rejected the instructions of God, therefore our enemies rule over us. Our glory has been turned into shame; our young men fall in the streets; we weep for our children and they are not. The daughters of Zion have been consumed by the adversary; the sons ofJudah no longer provide a defense. Thy standard bearers have sunk very low. We sought the ways of the adversary and only increased our sorrow. We have eaten of the tree of which Thou said, Ye shall not eat of it lest ye die. Father, in our sorrow we cry unto Thee for we know not the way, but thou knowest; we understand not, but Thou understandeth; we see not, but Thou seest. Teach us good judgment and knowledge; make us to understand the way of Thy precepts, for it is time to work for God.
This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. All that pass by clap their hands; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Thy people, saying: Is this the people that men call the perfection of beauty: The joy of the whole earth? All mine enemies have opened their mouths against me. They hiss and gnash their teeth; they say we have swal- lowed her up! Certainly this is the day we looked for. We have found; we have seen it. O Father, we have been thrown down; they have not pitied; the enemy rejoiced over us. O Lord God of Israel, hear, for the Lord will not cast off forever. Send Thy spirit into me like the lightning from the heavens. Open my eyes that I may see Thy light on the path; open mine ears that I may hear Thy words and follow Thy instructions. We seek Thee O Father, for in Thee only is our salvation. We seek Thy way, for in it there is life. Remember O Lord what is come upon us; consider and behold our reproach. Our inheritance is turned to strangers; our houses to aliens. Our necks are under persecution; we labor and have no rest. Our fathers have sinned and are not, and we have borne their iniquity. Servants have ruled over us, thinking there is none to deliver out of their hand. But Thy wisdom shall deliver us; Thy knowledge shall restore our glory; Thy understanding, our greatness. Thou shall restore our soul and once again cause us to lie down in green pastures. We are Thy children; Thou art our Father. Be one again with Thy servant. For we are the sheep of Thy pasture; the work of Thine hands. Forsake us not at this the fateful hour.

Film offers us a powerful tool to shift awareness and inspire action. By hosting community film screenings and sharing them online, they offer a method to break our dependence on the mainstream media and become the media ourselves. We don't need to wait for anyone or anything.Just imagine what could become possible if an entire city had seen just one of the documentaries below. Just imagine what would be possible if everyone in the country was aware of how unhealthy the mainstream media was for our future and started turning to independent sources in droves.Creating a better world really does start with an informed citizenry, and there's lots of subject matter to cover. Our country has to come to terms with the true history of Western civilization. It has to learn about basic ecology. It needs to understand some basic truths about peak oil and the monetary system, the truth about capitalism and governments.Our society needs a new story to belong to. The old story of empire and…Continue
The dangers of EurocentrismBesides being blatantly racist, the assumption that the Children of Israel's ancestors were white is fundamentally flawed, and can lead to confusion, misguided policies and worse.By Ahmadiel Ben Yehuda Sep.14, 2012 | 2:00 AMHaaretz.comMost Israelis would doubtless dissociate themselves from Interior Minister Eli Yishai's spiteful declaration earlier this year, as reported by Maariv, that "this country belongs to us, to the white man."However, a widespread "presumption of whiteness" exists where Jewish identity is concerned, not just on the part of Israelis and Jews, but generally among most people in the world. Besides being blatantly racist, the assumption that the Children of Israel's ancestors were white is fundamentally flawed, and can lead to confusion, misguided policies and worse.Dispersed throughout Africa and the distant Americas are millions of Africans who claim Hebraic ancestry. While their practices and family heritage may not conform to…Continue
A RECOVERING RAP ADDICT'S QUEST FOR THE QUINTESSENCE by Ben Khayil B.A. Khazriel ( codename: Ben-REAL )Introduction “Music is much more than a form of entertainment; music identifies races, nationalities, and communities. It has far-reaching hypnotic effects on the brain and soul, and can take complete control of the body and mind. Music can determine the mood of a person or a people. After comprehending its profound effects on the mind, it stands to reason that we must beware, for the effects can be good or evil. Music is like a series of thought waves that cause men to think and do right or wrong, wise things or foolish things.Blacks have once more fallen victim to the deceitful use of words. There has been a conspiracy against Black people, perpetuated through a musical transformation. The message of Black music had to be destroyed because of it's strength and vision. Music is a part of our very soul and spirit; therefore it would have to be utilized and manipulated by an enemy…Continue
